Hotfish Charters is a full-service fishing guide experience and is Captain Mark Crawford is USCG licensed and insured. Mark runs his fishing charters with a Custom built 23 ft' bay boat made by Dorado Boats. The charter fishing boat has a half tower with Simrad electronics and trolling motors and is powered by Mercury Marine. Mark provides custom Crowder Rods and a fleet of Diawa and Shimano reels. The charter includes live bait, licenses, cleaning & packaging of fish and a cooler full of ice. Mark is a Florida born native based out of Palm Harbor, Florida and has been fishing our local waters for over 25 years. He specializes in both inshore fishing trips and offshore fishing charters in and around West Central Florida (Tampa, Clearwater, Palm Harbor, and Boca Grande), with services that offer the best fishing for what the season dictates. Mark's inshore fishing charters will take you fishing for redfish, snook, trout, and large tarpon during the season. Offshore fishing charters target grouper, snapper, kingfish, and cobia. Come aboard to experience a professionally guided fishing charter service that offers a variety of fishing charters that will fit your schedule. Specializing in Snook, Tarpon, Redfish, Trout, Kingfish, Grouper, and Cobia (running trips out of Pinellas County year-round and Boca Grande April-August). Tarpon fishing in World Famous Boca Grande, which is located just 2 hours south of Tampa Bay. Captain Mark Crawford is the 2013 PTTS Team of the Year winner, with many other local tournament winnings! We can pick up at home marina or arrange to pick our clients up close to their hotel rooms on Clearwater Beach. We fish all around the Tampa Bay Area including St Pete beach. April-August Boca Grande tarpon charters, customer pickups are customized for each client.

March 21, 2017 3/4 day charter with Captain Mark was great. I wanted a mixed bag inshore/backbay trip for Dad and I and he did not disappoint it was perfect. Sight fishing for redfish, snook, sea trout and cobia. I got the west coast slam (redfish, snook and sea trout) I was looking for. Captain Mark really worked hard and covered ALOT of area to find the fish we were looking for. Boat was great to fish off- very comfortable. Truly a great day and can't wait to get back down there to fish with Captain Mark again!

Great fishing. Had an amazing day out on the water with Captain Mark. The reels never stopped moving, fish after fish we were pullin them in. Awesome time!! Clearly knows what he’s doing, would highly recommend Hotfish charters to anyone looking to book a fishing trip. Never pulled that many snook in on a singal trip :)

During the months of April through August, you can find Capt. Mark fishing the waters of Boca Grande, catching the World-Famous Tarpon, one of the premier game fish in the World. Tarpon fishing provides hard hitting, line stripping, rod gripping action. Tarpon will tail walk on water, take deep running dives, and will go absolutely berserk once they catch a glimpse of the boat. You'll have to fight hard and wear them down if you wish to get them to the boat for a photo opportunity.
